Prix du Meilleur Ecrit OHADA

The International Organising Committee of the 2022 edition of the Prix du Meilleur Ecrit OHADA informs the community of OHADA law researchers and scientific contributors of the official launch of the fifth edition of the Prix du Meilleur Ecrit OHADA.

Initiated in 2018 with the support of UNIDA, the Prix du Meilleur Ecrit OHADA now organised by the Société Internationale du Droit aims to encourage researchers to participate in the thinking and systematisation of OHADA business law, which is constantly being tested by new issues.

To this end, it invites young researchers to reflect on one of the themes or court decisions of their choice, with a view to contributing to the ongoing systematisation of OHADA law.

The Prix du Meilleur Ecrit OHADA is open to all researchers, regardless of their nationality, in accordance with the conditions set out in the general and specific rules of the competition.

For the 2022 edition of the Prix du Meilleur Ecrit OHADA, candidates in the Best Article category will have the choice of focusing their thoughts on one of the following themes:

– The commissory pact, an effective guarantee for the creditor;

– The men of the figure in the Uniform Act relating to the law of commercial companies and EIGs;

– Formalism in OHADA law.

As for the candidates of the category of the Best Commentary on a Judicial Decision, they will have the choice to focus their thoughts on one of the judgments available on the following links:
